Fri, 16 May 2008 In this podcast I talk about:1. Rasmuson Foundation Gallery of Alaskan Artists and the behind-the-scenes lessons from planning a big RL/SL event. 2. Lest you think I only talk about my clients, I also talk about the weird perceptions between charging Linden versus Dollars. I forget what else I talk about - but I did work on my intro and outro. Still needs some tweaking but it was fun figuring out how to do a few things in Garageband. Song "Welcome to the Show" by Kevin McLeod is from Royalty Free Music. Comments[1] |
Fri, 2 May 2008 I woke up at 5:30am and found myself walking through the steps of shortening the music intro and outro so I just did it. Clipped almost 1 minute off the whole thing. Now to compile a long list of topics for upcoming shows. I find that if I don't have a long list of topics, I hit writers block all too easily. Your thoughts are welcome! Thu, 1 May 2008 WooHoo! I did it! I recorded a rambly first show, figured out how to edit on Garageband, found some great intro music at Royalty Free Music by Kevin McLeod, and voila. Note to self: Shorten music intro. Control the ramble. Don't be afraid to curse ("Pain in the patootie?" What IS that?) The topics for Show #1: 1. NEWS: Linden Lab trademark issues 2. BUSINESS: Buying Athena Isle with a consortium of women 3. PLACES: Rasmuson Foundation Gallery of Alaskan Art Feel free to submit comments, questions, topic ideas. In a perfect world, I'll be doing these weekly. My goal is to talk about working and living in the virtual world Second Life as a writer, marketer, entrepreneur and woman. Thanks for listening!
